Warranty Overview
This Lift Foils Limited Warranty applies to Lift Foils products purchased from Lift Foils or authorized retailers for personal use. The purchaser or user of the product (“Product”) is referred to as “you” throughout this warranty.
By using the Lift Foils Product, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Limited Warranty.
What Does My Warranty Cover?
Lift Foils warrants that the Product will be free from material and workmanship defects under normal use according to Lift Foils’ official product materials. These include user manuals, safety guidelines, specifications, application notifications, and service communications issued by Lift Foils or its authorized representatives.
Warranty Coverage Period
The coverage period begins on the retail purchase date and includes:
- 1 Year for board components.
- 2 Years for foil and wing components.
- Battery: Earlier of 1 year or 300 battery cycles.
Warranty Service Provided
If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, Lift Foils may at its discretion:
- Repair the product using new or equivalent parts.
- Replace the product with a functionally equivalent product.
- Provide a refund of the original purchase price.
How to Get Warranty Service
If the product fails to function as expected during the coverage period, you can obtain service by contacting Lift Foils via the email listed in the owner’s manual or on the official Lift Foils website.
You must provide valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation.
Service Process
Lift Foils may initially attempt to diagnose the issue through email, phone support, or online chat. You may also be asked to install software updates.
If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, the product may need to be sent to Lift Foils for inspection and repair.
Shipping Responsibility
Lift Foils will arrange repair or replacement if the issue falls under warranty. Shipping costs for repair services may be the responsibility of the customer depending on Lift Foils’ discretion.
What Is Not Covered
- Unauthorized modification or repair.
- Improper use or misuse of the product.
- Failure to maintain the product according to the manual.
- Use of unauthorized third-party parts or accessories.
- Operation with low battery charge.
- Damage caused by crashes, physical impacts, or accidents.
- Environmental damage such as lightning, flooding, or extreme temperatures.
- Damage during improper transport or storage.
- Damage caused by electromagnetic interference.
- Damage caused by unauthorized cleaning products.
- Damage caused by non-recreational use.
Additional Exclusions
- Loss or damage to personal data.
- Software programs installed after purchase.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Use after a known warranty issue has been reported.
Waiver of Liability
During warranty service, Lift Foils is responsible for loss or damage to your product only while it is in Lift Foils’ possession or during authorized shipping.
Lift Foils is not responsible for the loss of confidential, personal, or proprietary data contained within the product.
Limitation of Liability
Lift Foils shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data resulting from use of the product.
Use of the product indicates acceptance of these warranty terms and limitations.
